On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The economy is the most urgent problem, nationally and locally. By investing in mass transit and our educational system, we can best get our economy moving again. Mass transit creates jobs and takes cars off the road, helping everyone's commute. We need more trains and less traffic, particularly from Haymarket to Vienna. We must make our educational system even stronger by emphasizing learning in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) subjects. Good schools and well-educated citizens attract employers and green jobs.

Why should voters elect you?

I will be a positive, independent voice representing the 40th district and will work for all Virginia. The voters will do better with Dianne Blais.
