On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

More than ever, in these challenging economic times, the Virginia legislature needs to focus on core government functions without raising taxes. These are: 1) providing a favorable business environment for job creation; 2) public safety; 3) transportation; 4) providing for those with physical and mental disabilities; and 5) education. In regard to education, we need to focus on providing more slots for our high-achieving students who seek admittance to in-state colleges and universities. We must also continue to streamline government and control government spending.

Why should voters elect you?

I have a strong record of listening and acting upon the concerns of my constituents. I will seek common-sense solutions without raising taxes.
