On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
Improving Virginia's economy to create jobs and running our government in the third year of the worst recession since the Great Depression. There are two ways to approach this problem: raise taxes by billions, or cut spending and make government live within its means. I chose to cut spending to 2006 levels, and it's working. Virginia's economy is starting to grow, and we have a surplus. I'm not just saying this to get elected. National news media have ranked Virginia the "Best Governed State," "Best State to Do Business" and "Second Best Public School System in the U.S."
Why should voters elect you?
I get things done. Helped construct SCSS, "Mixing Bowl," Fairfax County Parkway, Rt. 123, renovate WSHS (2014). Wrote toughest anti-gang and DUI laws in America.
