On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing our district is a state legislature and budget that are intent on maintaining the status quo instead of striving to improve on what we have. Shortchanging the Virginia Retirement System, failing to address our crumbling secondary roads and bridges, and cutting a quarter-billion dollars from our schools in the name of saving what we have has led to phony surpluses and loans that our kids will be paying for decades to come. The long-term fiscal health of the state cannot be balanced on the backs of working families and our children's future.

Why should voters elect you?

As a southern Fairfax County native, small-businessman and Catholic, I want to improve our great business climate while doing right by the less fortunate.
