On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing my jurisdiction is that of a lessening quality of life because of diminishing economic vitality and inadequate transportation infrastructure for our increased population. While our unemployment rate isn't as high as that of other areas, it is still of little comfort to those who are unemployed, underemployed or concerned about their future. It is the duty of representatives to ensure that residents have the best opportunities possible for individual prosperity. The fact that our investments in transportation infrastructure have not kept pace with our growing number of residents and commuting employees is unacceptable.

Why should voters elect you?

I have a proven history of public service in and out of uniform, putting the interests of my country and community before partisan politics.
