On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The lack of investment in transportation and education infrastructure, and human capital. U.S. 1 is overdue for widening. The Yellow Line must be extended from Huntington to Lorton. Every school in my district is overcrowded and has trailers while teacher salaries grow uncompetitive, class sizes increase and in-state colleges grow out of reach because of skyrocketing tuition and fewer in-state slots. The Lee-Mount Vernon Community requires investment in its transportation core and its people to achieve its full potential so we can have the same quality of life enjoyed by the rest of Fairfax County.
Why should voters elect you?
I have a vision for our community, will work harder than anyone to achieve it, and have proven my capabilities in my last term.
