On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

We must ensure that every Northern Virginian benefits from the quality of life that comes with our relatively strong economy and education systems. This is not a single, urgent problem, but a web of interconnected issues driven by the still-high costs of housing and health care, inadequate state investment in education and transportation, unfair tax policies that disadvantage the middle class and heavy-handed policies in Richmond that tie the hands of local communities.

Why should voters elect you?

For six years, I have delivered for our community through principled, effective, progressive leadership, but there's much more work to do and change takes time.
