On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Traffic congestion and the lack of attention to this issue. Richmond's emphasis on financing solutions that generate debt for our children is not the answer. We need to fight congestion by extending Metro to Centreville, improving roads and encouraging the use of rapid transit. Transportation solutions require dedicating our attention to every option. Instead, tea-party-supported politician Jim LeMunyon wasted taxpayer dollars trying to amend the U.S. Constitution to allow the nullification of federal laws by sponsoring HJR 542. This bill carried the real potential of decimating Northern Virginia's economy, which is heavily dependent on federal programs and legislation.

Why should voters elect you?

I support practical solutions for Fairfax and Loudoun. Unlike my tea-party-supported opponent, I care about what works, not a rigid ideology.
