On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

There has been a violent crime spike of 46 percent in three years (2006-09, the last years for which FBI statistics are available); criminal illegal immigrant, gang and drug crime; and crime against the elderly and fraud. These problems, in large part, are the result of the lack of effective, and often absentee, leadership of the current sheriff. The sheriff's department must establish pro-active law enforcement, consistent policing polices and extensive training to help turn the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office into a world-class law enforcement agency.

Why should voters elect you?

Extensive leadership and management experience in building a large firm; 13 years of Virginia and Loudoun law enforcement experience.
