On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

The most urgent problem facing the 13th District is: How do we jump-start the economy? As I knock on doors around the district, people are worried about losing their jobs. I think we should be providing incentives to small- and medium-size businesses that are creating and maintaining jobs locally. Additionally, we should provide R&D tax credits to businesses that are partnering with our great state colleges and universities.

Why should voters elect you?

When I go to Richmond, I'll work across party lines to jump-start our economy and do what's right for the district.
