On the Issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The most urgent issue facing Northern Virginia is maintaining our quality of life despite growing challenges related to traffic, the environment, education and efforts to undermine the civil liberties of women, minorities and LGBT Virginians. In the Senate, I will build on my record of success in these and other critical areas: relieving traffic by expanding access to transit, widening Route 1 in Fairfax and working to extend the Yellow Metro Line; increasing support for public schools and expanding workforce training programs; and expanding the use of solar power and protecting our waterways from pollution.

Northern Virginians need a state senator with the experience and established relationships my service in the General Assembly has provided.
