On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Child-support reform. I've met women who are paying child support who never should have been in the first place. I've met a mom whose child was taken when she asked CPS for help and another mom who was paying both the state and the delinquent father at the same time. Virginia should cross-reference child support, child custody and child visitation. If a child is pulled from a home, support orders to that home should stop automatically. Instead, not only can an order stand for years, but a judge has no option to correct that injustice when it's found later.

Why should voters elect you?

I am making only one promise: to uphold the constitutions of the United States and of Virginia as revised in 1971.
