On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Ensuring that the Northern Virginia economy continues to flourish is the most urgent challenge facing my district. To address this challenge, I will work to secure federal and state funding to help complete the Metrorail project to Dulles Airport. Local dollars and toll revenues are already earmarked for this vitally important project. Additionally, I will work to ensure that the community college system has the capacity and resources necessary to accept every eligible student. This will train our future workforce and enable individuals to secure better-paying jobs and a higher quality of life for their families.

Why should voters elect you?

I have a proven record of results. In Richmond, I will work to protect our schools, invest in jobs and create great communities.
