On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Traffic-clogged roads cost hours in wasted time and gallons of wasted fuel, risk safety, reduce the quality of life and impede our economic recovery by slowing down commerce and discouraging consumerism. Reducing congestion will improve the efficiency of delivery of goods and services. Children are negatively impacted by lengthy bus rides to school and parents leaving home before daylight to eliminate time spent in traffic. State government is responsible for all road maintenance and construction and should fulfill its responsibility and not leave local governments to building roads from their limited local budgets.

Why should voters elect you?

I am a small businesswoman looking out for legislation impacting small businesses, entrepreneurs and risk-takers who are responsible for creating two-thirds of new jobs.
