On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

Your commute! The commute is unhealthy and inefficient. It takes a toll on you and your family. Because I am a commuter, I've proposed a slate of creative ideas: my Community Commute Tax Credit to fund additional parking at Metro terminus stations; lifting HOV on 66 when long-term construction alters intended flow; opening I-66 shoulder lanes in real-time conditions; converting all four of Virginia's Metro board members to voting status; and developing more telecommuting centers in the Virginia exurbs to meet the security thresholds set out in Congress' Telework Act of 2010, so that federal employees can work remotely.

Why should voters elect you?

I will focus my hallmark energy on cutting your commute and cutting your taxes, because I am for your family. Vote Culipher Nov. 8, 2011.
