On the Issues

What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

I want my three children to grow up in an as good or even better Virginia than I had the opportunity to grow up in. But when the state Senate responds to every challenge with job-killing tax hikes, new regulations and wasteful government programs, it makes a mess of our economy and jeopardizes Virginia's future. To create jobs and help families, we need to get government out of the way; improve transportation and infrastructure; end government waste so we can fund our priorities; and ensure children are getting the quality education they deserve. It's time to put people over politics.

Why should voters elect you?

I have a proven record on the issues. I've kept my promises. I'll stand up to special interests. I never forget who I work for: you.
