U.S. House, Virginia District 10
Analysis
» June 12, 2006 | Incumbent Frank Wolf (R), who has developed a profile centered around local transportation issues, opposition to gambling and the protection of human rights abroad, continues to carry a Northern Virginia district that seems to trend less Republican with every election.
Wolf could have a tougher time this year, however, as his Democratic challenger Judy Feder, a professor and dean of Public Policy at Georgetown University, has garnered an impressive amount of campaign contributions in the past few months. She has $461,247 on hand to Wolf's $636,089. Feder has a definite uphill climb in a district that Bush took with 55 percent in 2004, but the dynamics of this race could change with the national anti-incumbent tide.
