Unit: Army, A Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Army Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga.
Incident: Killed in a suicide car bombing. An apparently pregnant woman stepped out of a car and ran screaming toward U.S. soldiers at the Hadithah Dam checkpoint. The car then exploded, killing three soldiers, the woman and the driver, also a woman.
