Unit: Army, 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Wash.

Incident: Died at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Tex. from injuries sustained April 23 when a carbomb exploded near his Stryker military vehicle in Mosul.
