Unit: Army, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
Incident: Killed when he came under small arms fire and a makeshift bomb exploded during combat operations near Ar Ramadi.
