Unit: Army, 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.

Incident: Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his unit in Zaganiyah.
