Died: August 15, 2008 in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Unit: Army, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.

Incident: Killed in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when his vehicle encountered a makeshift bomb and came under small arms and rocket-propelled grenade fire.
