Guantanamo Bay Detainees Classifed as "No Longer Enemy Combatants"

Since the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, opened in early 2002, 38 detainees have officially earned "no longer enemy combatant" (NLEC) status, a group that makes up about 5 percent of the total number of detainees who have passed through the facility's gates. All but four of the men have been released. Below is a list of all the current and former detainees who have earned NLEC status.
