Jimmy Speros
Sport: Football Position: Defensive lineman/Offensive lineman Height: 6'4" High School: Flint Hill (Fairfax, VA) Graduation Year: 2009 Summary: Speros was a first team All-MAC and all-state selection as a junior at offensive tackle. He comes from a long history of football players in the Washington area. His grandfather, Leo Speros, was a Timmie Award winner from Wilson High School (1949) and played for Jim Tatum at the University of Maryland. His father, Jim Speros, played at St. John's College High School in the District and later at Clemson University under Danny Ford. His father also coached for the Washington Redskins under Joe Gibbs, for the Buffalo Bills in the 1980s, and owned the Baltimore Stallions of the CFL and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Jimmy Speros' uncle Pete Speros played his high school football at St. John's and went on to play at Penn State, where he was an All-American, and continued his career with the Seattle Seahawks.
