This 680-seat is used for plays from off-Broadway and cabaret-style shows. Originally named the Boro Theatre, the art deco building opened as a movie house in 1938 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater, purchased and restored by the Bethesda Cultural Alliance, reopened last year as a space for live theater.
