Byrd Stadium, at the northern end of the College Park campus of the University of Maryland, is home to the Terrapins football and men's lacrosse teams. Opened in 1950, the stadium has undergone several renovations, which have added restrooms, bleachers, a press box and a large upper deck. The stadium seats more than 51,500.
