By The Fix: Less than 24 hours after the third and final presidential debate of the 2008 election, Barack Obama is on television with a new ad that seeks to turn John McCain's best moment of the night into a weakness. As we wrote last night, McCain's frank repudiation of the idea he represents four more years of Bush Administration policies marked a high water point for the Arizona senator in the debate season. To win this election -- or even to mount a serious comeback -- McCain has to make clear to undecided voters that he would represent a clean break with the last eight years generally and George W. Bush specifically. Recognizing this -- and perhaps acknowledging the potential effectiveness of McCain's line last night -- the Obama campaign launched a new ad this morning featuring those very comments and attempting to call them into doubt.
