Defined
A U.S. lawmaker who represents an entire state or district, as opposed to a single congressional subdivision. In the U.S. House, seven states are represented by an “at large” representative: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming.
