In February, Micros completed its purchase of CommercialWare Inc. of Natick, Mass., for $13.2 million in cash.
CommercialWare provides retailers with software for "cross channel" marketing that can include stores, the Web, call centers and catalogues. It will operate as a division of Datavantage, a wholly owned subsidiary of Micros. Datavantage and CommercialWare shared many common customers before the acquisition. Together they will have a customer base of 400 brands and retailers.
In January 2005, Micros acquired JTech Communications, a privately held business in Boca Raton, Fla., that makes wireless paging devices that vibrate or light up to alert restaurant patrons when their tables are ready.
Micros said its financial results for the last half of 2005 include JTech activity.
Also, in July Micros entered into agreements with Bank of America, Wachovia Bank and US Bank for a four-year, $65 million line of credit that expires July 31, 2009.
