Yes, our commuter program helps employees save money by allowing them to set aside a portion of their paycheck before taxes are deducted and use it to pay their eligible commuting and parking expenses.

We promote a work-life balance, which means that if an employee needs to adjust their schedule due to the demands of home and work life, then we will do our best to support it.

Stanley employees have boundless opportunities to have a career at the company, not just a job. We encourage employees to gain experience in a number of positions and to seek out advancement opportunities. Last year, more than 300 employees were promoted or transferred within the company.
What kind of educational training does your company provide? Do you offer tuition reimbursement?
Stanley offers $5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement to qualified employees in pursuit of advanced education. We are also dedicated to providing quality training programs that reflect the needs and changing responsibilities of our employees. This commitment is reflected in the comprehensive array of both formal and informal training and development courses that we offer, including supervisor training, program manager training and customer service training, to name a few. We also recently launched an online learning initiative called Stanley University, which offers courses in a wide variety of subject matter—from highly technical topics to software application instruction, business skills development and personal development.

What kinds of philanthropic programs or volunteer activities does your company participate in or provide?
Stanley is proud to have a unique, employee-centric culture that is strengthened by employees who feel connected to their communities. With this in mind, we maintain a number of programs and professional affiliations to allow employees to support their communities and charitable interests.
The Stanley Volunteer Program (SVP) formalizes the company’s support of employee volunteerism and provides all employees, who are also active volunteers with non-profit community-service organizations, the opportunity to apply for cash grants. The program recognizes the volunteer efforts of employees who give up their personal time for the betterment of our communities and enlist the help of fellow employees for support.
In addition to the SVP, Stanley supports numerous community and customer-sponsored events that improve, enhance, and/or support the communities in which we live and work. Examples of organizations supported include the American Red Cross; Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation National Race for the Cure; and American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure. In addition, we sponsor monthly lunches for the homeless, holiday gift drives companywide, and charity golf tournaments.
