Founded 40 years ago, ManTech International is an information technology company that contracts with military, intelligence, space and homeland security agencies. The company supports the telecommunications systems used in Iraq and security systems protecting U.S. embassies. Last year, it acquired the government contractor McDonald Bradley for $76.5 million in cash and formed a wholly owned subsidiary, ManTech MBI. In March, its systems-engineering arm won a $15.7 million contract from the Navy.
