Strayer University provides post-secondary education to adult students, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration, accounting, information technology, education and public administration. The for-profit university operates 55 campuses in a dozen states, but all of its courses are available online. Strayer had 37,000 students in its 2007 fall term, up from 31,000 the previous year. Strayer plans to open nine campuses in 2008, up from eight new campuses opened in each of the previous two years.
