The power producer's sales grew almost 20 percent in 2008, coming from projects in countries including Cameroon, Brazil, the Philippines, Bulgaria and Spain. It bought a stake in a Chinese wind farm in July, and in January, it won permission to build a liquefied natural gas terminal in Baltimore Harbor that can handle 1.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas a day. As of Dec. 31, it had 14 power and 11 wind power projects under construction.
