In bankruptcy protection for more than eight years, the chemicals and construction materials company filed a reorganization plan in September. Grace stopped or slowed production at more than 50 plants in 2008 and plans to continue cost-cutting measures this year. W.R. Grace and three former executives were acquitted last week of charges that they knowingly exposed residents of Libby, Mont., to asbestos and concealed the threat.
