Summary:

This is a variation on a cocktail called the Odd McIntyre. It uses applejack instead of the brandy or cognac that the original calls for. The applejack creates a subtle but fruity aroma and a light but tart taste.

Fill two-thirds of a cocktail shaker with ice and add the liquid ingredients. Stir vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
