Agavoni

The Washington Post, July 1, 2009

Summary:

This flavorful drink replaces the gin of a Negroni with tequila. Be sure to use a good, unaged 100 percent agave blanco or silver such as El Tesoro, Siete Leguas or Siembra Azul. Also, do not omit the orange bitters and the grapefruit peel, which tie all the big flavors together. Created by Bastian Heuser, one of Germany's top bartenders, for the German bartending magazine Mixology.
