God is light. All religions including New Age believe in a higher power or God. It is in the bible that we are made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore we strive to reach that image and likeness in our daily lives.
The great prophets of the world; Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, Moses reached their God image while still on earth. When we stay in the image and likeness of God we are at peace and healed. God wants us to be in the light. He/She wants us to be happy, fulfilled and live up to our full potential. He/She did not give us our gifts to hide in a closet.
When we live in ego and arrogance we are in darkness. It is not God who causes war. It is not God who causes sickness, pain poverty and unhappiness it is man's ego and arrogance. We have free will. We can choose to live in God's light or we can choose to live in our own dark selfish ego state.
Think about it. Every war has been caused by man. Man's need to prove himself better than someone else. To take away from another and fill himself up with stolen property.
God is abundance. Follow Him/Her. Stay in the light. Listen to God. When are we making decisions on ego and when are we making decisions because we are following God's path for us. We need to use the gifts given us to the fullest. Let go of the ego and your path shall shine brightly.
