Notable moments on 18
2001, Round 4 - Woods holed out a 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th green, then pumped his fist into the air. He had just won his fourth consecutive major championship -- topping David Duval by two strokes -- a feat unprecedented in golf.
2005, Round 4 - Woods bogeyed his 72nd hole of the 2005 Masters, forcing a playoff with Chris DiMarco. But in the first --and only -- playoff hole, also at 18, Woods reached the green in two shots, the latter an 8-iron from the fairway that left him a 15-foot putt. Woods made it for birdie and claimed his fourth Masters title.
2008, Round 2 - Woods drove in the trees down the right side and his third shot -- from the 10th fairway -- hit playing partner Stuart Appleby's ball on the green. His ball was spinning back to the hole before it made contact and might have had a chance to go in for birdie, or at least a tap-in par. Instead he made a 10-footer for par.
Woods's All-Time Masters Scorecard
Tiger Woods's overall success at the Masters has been well documented, and every hole of his 58 rounds (played at a 70.9 average) is recorded below. Beyond obvious low-scoring holes such as 13 and 15, a key spot for Woods has been the 7th hole, because if he's scoring well at that point, he is very likely to finish the round with a good score. In the 25 rounds in which Woods was under par through seven, he has never finished above par, and he has finished at 69 or better 14 times.
