Kevin Sullivan

» Washington Post Staff Writer | Kevin Sullivan and his wife, Mary Jordan, are The Washington Post's co-bureau chiefs in London. Sullivan joined the Post in 1991 after working at the Providence Journal in Rhode Island and the Gloucester Daily Times in Massachusetts. He grew up in Maine and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1981. He and Jordan were the Post's co-bureau chiefs in Tokyo from 1995 to 1999 and Mexico City from 2000 to 2005. Sullivan was a John S. Knight fellow at Stanford University in 1999-2000. He and Jordan won the George Polk Award in 1998 for coverage of the Asian Financial Crisis and the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for their coverage of the Mexican criminal justice system. They have two children.
