» Washington Post Staff Writer | Molly Moore is based in Paris for The Washington Post. Moore began her journalism career at The Lake Charles (La.) American Press in the early 1970s. Upon graduation from Georgetown University in 1974, she began reporting for the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Moore joined the Post in 1981 as a Virginia reporter and went on to cover the Pentagon and the Gulf War. She joined the foreign staff in 1992 and has been posted in New Delhi, Mexico City, Istanbul, Jerusalem and now Paris.
