MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), headquartered in Dayton, OH, is a leader in engineering, management, and technical services on DoD programs. MacB has grown to a 680-person company with $65 million in annual revenue since its founding in 1979. MacB acquired Tera Research Inc. in 2008, an Intelligence company founded in 1988 and based in San Jose, California with field offices in Denver CO, Albuquerque NM, and Vienna, VA.
MacB has extensive background in avionics, C4I, reconnaissance/intelligence, information operations, and weapons systems. Its particular strength has been in the areas of Information and Electronic Warfare involving systems such as airborne radar and missile (SAM, AAM) systems, RF and EO/IR countermeasures, threat warning receivers, C4ISR, intelligence, high fidelity RF/EO simulations, advanced chaff/flare expendables, SIGINT receivers/ processing systems, and computer network security technology.
MacB has a long heritage providing support to the Air Force on programs involving acquisition management, systems engineering, integration, analysis, modeling and simulation, and test and evaluation. It provides A&AS/SETA support to several Air Force clients including: Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Air Armament Center (AAC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Force Operational T&E Center (AFOTEC), and the Air Force Information Operations Center (AFIOC).
Tera Research had a broad range of engineering and analytical expertise in Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Space Control, and Information Operations (IO) and existing contracts with the National Intelligence customers. In January 2008, MacB established a new wholly-owned subsidiary company -- MacB Enterprise Solutions Inc. (MacB-ESI) headquartered in Shrewsbury NJ, provides a wide range of engineering, logistics, program management, and test support to Army Command/Control Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) customers and programs.
