Stanley, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides information technology (IT) services and solutions to the United States defense and federal civilian government agencies. It offers its solutions to support their needs at various stages of program, product development, or business lifecycle through five services areas, which include systems engineering, enterprise integration, operational logistics, business process outsourcing, and advanced engineering and technology. The company's systems engineering services primarily include systems design and enterprise architecture development; software engineering and development; security engineering and information assurance; command and control, and C4ISR engineering and integration; network and IT infrastructure engineering; and independent verification and validation.

In April 2007, Stanley acquired Lawton, Oklahoma based Techrizon, LLC, a premier provider of software, training, simulation and information security solutions. This acquisition reinforces Stanley's strategy to expand its presence in key markets positively impacted by the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. Most recently, in July 2008, Stanley acquired Oberon Associates, Inc., an engineering, intelligence operations and information technology services company based in Manassas, VA. The acquisition of Oberon further expands the range of solutions offered to our customers, bringing biometric applications experts, functional experts within the intelligence community, and expertise in communications and information management systems to Stanley.

(formerly HSM Electronic Protection Services, Inc.) is the third largest electronic security company, second largest commercial security services company, and one of the largest system integrators in the United States. Stanley CSS has over 75 offices serving over 120 of the largest metropolitan markets in North America. Stanley CSS designs, installs, monitors and services security systems for industrial, government, commercial, residential and national account customers. Stanley CSS represents a network of resources, state-of-the-art technology and a culture dedicated to excellence; where its employees have the training, the equipment and the processes they need to deliver the finest security solutions in the industry.

The former Oberon Associates, Inc., headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, provides engineering, intelligence operations, and information technology (IT) services. The company offered biometrics application and integration, intelligence community support, communications engineering, and information technology and enterprise data management services. It serves government and commercial clients.
