History Channel Civil War: A Nation Divided
Washington Post Review
Although this first-person shooter game, set during the Civil War, comes from the same game publisher that makes the excellent World War II franchise Call of Duty, the two game experiences are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Real war is never fun, but World War II shooters such as Call of Duty blend real soldiers and battles with accurate weapons and history. Although Civil War: A Nation Divided features the History Channel brand, the game lacks any sense of historical accuracy. Aside from black-and-white photos and narration setting up the game's 12 levels (six are played from the Union's perspective and six from the Confederate Army's), there's no history. There's also very little fun.
