Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend

Lara Croft is back after a three-year absence and a horrendous sequel ("Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness") that almost killed the franchise. "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend" revives one of the most recognizable game franchises around. All the problems that plagued the franchise from its inception (inept camera movement, unresponsive controls, repetitive environments) have been erased, opening up gameplay that's actually fun. The new Lara Croft is now one fast archaeologist. Speed has been an issue with previous games, but controlling this Lara is a breeze (whether she's climbing walls, swimming or jumping across cliffs).
