Why should voters elect you?

"I'm experienced, with a record of service. I will advocate for better services and will be accountable solely to you — the residents of Ward 4."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The most urgent concern in the ward is how to fix the public schools. Our public schools need immediate resources to improve low-performing schools, manage the growing cost of special education, implement programs that will increase student achievement, and make our school buildings clean and safe where teachers can teach and students can learn. While on the Board of Education, I demonstrated a commitment to improve our schools; however, there are more improvements needed. As a council member with school board experience, I will address these educational challenges and be an advocate for needed changes."
