"I will reopen D.C. General Hospital and Benning Library, repeal the age 75 driving restriction, provide property tax reduction and fix public education."
What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The lack of adequate health care. Reopen D.C. General Hospital so that people who have heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, AIDS, shingles or other health problems can get treated in a timely fashion. If a person gets hit by a car or falls and needs to be taken to a hospital, D.C. General Hospital is the nearest hospital for Ward 7 residents. We need to open this hospital immediately, because the other hospitals in the area cannot support the 140,000 people that D.C. General Hospital was taking care of. Reopen D.C. General Hospital immediately."
