Why should voters elect you?

"My history fighting racial, social and political injustice; embracing diversity; eliminating crime spots; providing elders housing; and funding for low- and moderate-income home buyers."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Too many residents feel left out of development decisions. Many are being run out by escalating property costs. Seniors are losing homes. Rising population density is severely altering communities. An atmosphere of despair is causing a rise in the numbers of economic crimes against people and property (robberies and theft). I'm an advocate for a property tax moratorium for seniors; creative, conservative financing for first-time home buyers; state-of-the-art schools that prepare our youths for a changing job market; and nurturing neighborhood business hubs to provide opportunities for ward-based entrepreneurs."
