What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"The most urgent issue facing DCPS is not only how do we get the resources needed to turn around our failing schools, but how do we summon up the collective will to achieve such lofty goals? If elected, I will put our public schools first by directing dollars and the collective will toward strengthening our school system infrastructure. I will work toward raising the standards, placing further emphasis on wellness and nutrition programs, and empowering the entire school community, as it clearly has a stake in the success of our public schools."
