Why should voters elect you?

"I will be an independent voice representing the interests of Ward 7 but who will work effectively with council colleagues to get my constituents' work done."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"I would characterize the most urgent issue as the 'quality of life' issues that prohibit Ward 7 from becoming a welcome place for all of its residents. The issues are related: education, underemployment, inadequate access to health care, affordable housing and too few opportunities for the ward's business to participate in the economic boom that has occurred in the rest of the city. Taken together, these factors contribute to stunt the progress of the ward. While there has been major progress in the past few years, it has been uneven and too many residents feel left out if not behind."
