Why should voters elect you?

"My qualifications, knowledge and experience as a school administrator, teacher and social worker provide the best fit for providing immediate change-oriented leadership to the board."

What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"Low student achievement. Causal effects include a teaching workforce weakened over the years by a lack of professional development, coupled with a lack of systemic support for the teaching-learning process; a management infrastructure relying too heavily on the employment of emergency and uncertified teachers; school site principals saddled with unfunded mandates outside the scope and intent of the weighted student formula, causing a depletion of school site budgets by midyear; further weakening support for the teaching-learning process. And, a lack of aggressive-urgent leadership at the governance and management levels resulting in postponing the obvious."
